T-Mobile's controversial T-Life may not work for you if you're on Android. This problem won't affect everyone, but may present itself for T-Mobile subscribers who choose to download the latest Android 16 beta.
For now, this issue hasn't been reported extensively, though that is subject to change. One user report on Reddit, and another backing it up to boot, presented video proof of T-Life failing to launch on Android.
The user who reported the problem has updated their phone to the latest beta version of Android 16. Apparently, according to one person who responded, this is a problem with T-Life on this beta version.
There are no other forum posts backing this up, so there is the likelihood this is an isolated incident. If it isn't, we can expect more reports to start flooding in as more of T-Mobile's customers download the Android 16 beta.
According to the report, T-Life is not opening on the Android 16 beta. Tapping it brings up a new screen, but then T-Life crashes without ever making it to the welcome page. As the number of reports for this problem are very few, there has been no response or update from T-Mobile.

T-Mobile's T-Life may not work on the Android 16 beta.
This is an awful problem for T-Mobile customers. The carrier has made T-Life mandatory for everything. New plans, customer service, modifying your line, and everything else requires you to use T-Life.
T-Mobile is allegedly planning on making T-Life necessary for everything by 2027. No more workarounds with cash payments at T-Mobile stores. After the Verizon layoffs, T-Mobile employees are scared about a similar fate, which will be made possible with T-Life.
If everything requires T-Life, and the app stops working after Android or iOS updates, it will drive away customers. You don't want to have to deal with something that doesn't work when you need it. T-Mobile has concentrated all its points of failure into one app, which is not a smart move on the company's part.
If T-Life is indeed down on the latest Android 16 beta for some users, this may be our first look at one of the crippling downsides of T-Mobile moving everything to an app that hardly works as expected in the first place.
